Head of Assessors – Dr. Joel B. Carboni (USA) is a leading figure on sustainability in project management. He is a graduate of Ball State University, holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development and Environment and has an IPMA Level B working over 23 years in portfolio, program and project management – spanning government, finance, big five consulting and education. He has delivered talks, workshops, and trainings in 53 countries; advancing sustainable development. He is IPMA-USA President Emeritus, the founder of GPM (Green Project Management) and is an adjunct professor at Skema Business School in France.
Joel is also the GPM representative to the United Nations Global Compact where he was a founding signatory of the UN’s Business for Peace Initiative & Anti-Corruption call to action, a contributing author of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs).He is the architect of the PRiSM™ project delivery methodology, the P5 Standard for Sustainability in Project Management.

Caroline Rotter (Austria) Caroline’s experience comprises 17 years of leading projects in traditional and agile environments, working as IT line manager, coaching and mentoring project managers and executives, coaching agile teams and setting up PMO units incl. portfolio & governance management.
Amongst others she worked in the IT and telecommunications sector, mobility and logistics as well as media industry.
Caroline is certified in different disciplines like IPMA Level C, Certified Scrum Master, Certified LeSS Practitioner, Prosci Change Practitioner (ADKAR model), Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering.
2 years ago she founded her own company and works for her clients as project/agile/team coach, cultural change consultant, project lead and trainer for team excellence and agile leadership. Caroline’s passion is to give new momentum to teams, awakening their superpowers and the joy of working together.

Vahid Azadmanesh (Iran) graduated the MBA master’s degree from Carleton university in CA and Doctor Business Administration (DBA) in Lisbon university (ISEG) in Portugal. He has five PMI credentials such as PMP, PfMP, RMP, SP and PBA. Furthermore, he has over 15 years experience in the teaching, consulting, deployment and involving in the project management field across industries and universities like Tehran university. He is the professional Instructor of PMBOK,PRINCE2, PEM, ICB, PEB, Portfolio, Program standards in the middle east. González Ortega (Argentina) is a strong advocate of the United Nation Global Compact, her mission is contribute to Global Sustainability, an Imperative of the Society as a whole, tending to improve the quality of life, well-being and safety of people, rational use of resources and energy efficiency. Her Legacy is Project Management for Peace. Mónica González is an Industrial Engineer, holds a Master in Business Administration graduate of Córdoba Catholic University, Argentina. Jakub Lesinski (Poland) is a Senior Manager and Project/Programme Manager (20y experience). He has managed over 20 projects, been a team member in several others. He is the Founder and CEO of Thoriana – the project management consulting company based in Warsaw, operating across Europe, providing services from strategy definition through portfolio preparation to operational project management. Jakub is focused in leadership and effective management aspects especially in a complex project/programme management area. He led teams from 3 to 450+ people and projects up to 40MEUR budget. Jakub is apecialized in managing change and transformation (especially in IT domain) and enabling business growth through new products and platforms implementation. Tatiana Machicao (Peru) is an industrial engineer with a Master Degree in Project Management (Norwegian University of Science and Technology – Trondheim). She has worked in the Textile Industry, and lately as a consultant in Business Process Management, Integrated Quality Systems and Project Management mainly in public sector in Perú.
Tatiana is highly motivated in Business Process Management implementation projects and organizational Project Management. She is prepared as an assessor under IPMA Project Excellence Baseline (PEB).

Mohd Fairuz Mohd Yusof (Malaysia)
has more than 18 years of experience as a consultant, coach and assessor, in quality and process improvement initiatives for many different industries in Malaysia and South East Asia. He specializes in consulting, coaching and auditing relative to ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration, CMMI Cyber Maturity Platform, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO 22300, ISO/IEC 27000 and ISO/IEC 27032. He completed his degree in Software Engineering and holds a few professional certifications such as Certified CMMI Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Lead Auditor and Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. Currently he’s pursuing CIMA professional qualification at Operational Level. He was instrumental in setting up Malaysian Association of Project Management (MAPM) in 2013 and has served as the Secretary since then. He was also heavily involved in setting up and operating IPMA Malaysia’s CB, myPMCERT. He also has been appointed as the National First Assessor of IPMA 4 Level Certification for IPMA Malaysia. He has been involved as a team member in IPMA Certification Task Force and IPMA Sustainability Membership Model Task Force. He is also an active member of IEEE since 2010.

Oliver Moser (Austria) has about 10 years’ experience in project management in various industries such as production, construction, telecommunication and healthcare. During his work as quality and process manager he led numerous projects with a strong focus on organizational development and IT. He is currently Manager of a Project Management Office in the telecommunication industry and is responsible for the whole project and portfolio process. Oliver gained a profound project management knowledge during implementing PM according to IPMA standard in a medium sized family company, meanwhile he did his IPMA Level C certification. His ability to lead project teams through highly uncertain and complex situations he proved during turning around a project crisis as interim manager.
His academic background is founded in process management with specialization in healthcare, enhanced with a Master degree in innovation and technology management and completed with a MBA in General Management (so far). He holds various certifications besides IPMA Level C, for example in Quality and Environmental Management. Miguel Carvalho e Melo (Portugal)
Founding partner of Pomegranate a consultancy and training company specialized in Project and Portfolio Management, Miguel created two software-houses and was a partner at a consulting firm specialising in PPM (Project and Portfolio Management).

Miguel created and coordinates the Executive MBA in Sustainable Project Management at Autónoma Academy and 2 other Post-Graduations in Project Management in different Universities. He is also responsible for Project Management modules in several MBAs, Post Graduations and Master’s Degrees.

Dr. Michael Pace (USA) is an Executive Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School and Faculty Affiliate of Texas A&M’s Energy Institute. His responsibilities include instruction in Project Management, Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Managing Sustainable Business; leading study abroad programs to multiple locations (his goal is to teach on each continent); and advising student organizations (Phi Beta Lambda & the Aggie Product Management Club). He has delivered keynotes, workshops, and training worldwide on project management, especially on method customization; written several books & articles on project management; and founder of the consulting firm Diverging Roads. Outside of academia, Dr. Pace has spent almost 2 decades building or fixing project management functions across a diverse set of clients – including financial institutions, government agencies, biotech firms, and telecommunication companies. António Andrade Dias (Portugal) is co-founder and managing partner at Pomegranate Group. Graduated in Management, Postgraduate in Project Management from the Bremen University, MBA from Florida University, he has been responsible since 1988 for the implementation in Portugal of projects within the World Bank and EU support community framework.

Vice-President of the International Project Management Association for Operations and Projects, former President at APOGEP (Portuguese Project Management Association 2009-2017) currently he is professor of project management in several Portuguese, Spanish and Brazilian Universities.

Speaker at IPMA and PMI management schools and events. He has acted as consultant and/or manager of project-programmes, in public and private entities at national and international level, drawing his practical expertise, knowledge and wisdom from different domains such as project finance and risk management among others.


David Smyth (Canada) is a senior strategy and leadership professional with a 20+ year background in Business Development, Management Consulting and Product Development. He has championed projects in a multitude of verticals and environments – including senior mandates within the education, IT Service Management (ITSM) and consulting verticals.
His experience includes Practice leadership with a consulting firm specializing in Portfolio/Project Management where he helped grow revenues over 100% annually with both public and private sector clientele in a range of industries including Health Care, Logistics and Aerospace and Defence. He has championed new products in development with multilateral organizations such as the World Bank and accelerated their growth globally.David has organized multiple international Best Practice conferences bringing together thought leaders from around the world and has spoken at numerous conferences on subjects including Benefits Management and Realization, Portfolio Management, and Organizational Portfolio/Project Management/Change Management Capability.He obtained his B.A from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and resides in Toronto, Canada.

Danijela Toljaga-Nikolić (Serbia) is a lecturer at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education. Her field of interest is project management. She has gained a lot of experience in a project management field while working as a project associate, researcher, and analyst within projects in the Serbian public and commercial sectors, including projects that were funded by the EU. Danijela has coordinated a significant number of seminars in the field of project management based on PCM methodology, organized by the Serbian Project Management Association. Since 2015, she has been engaged as a member of the Jury Committee of the Global e-Collaboration Competition.
Danijela holds the position of Director of IPMA Certification for Serbia. From this position, she has a high level of knowledge and experience in the development process of the project manager’s competencies. She has published over 60 papers in national and international journals and conferences as a result of her research and teaching engagement.

    Stijn Pieters (Belgium)
    is co-founder and managing partner of PM • Risk Crisis Change.     Barend Daniel’s (Ben) Peters’ experience as professional spans over 18 years (15 years’ senior management) within the mining, oil and gas, telecoms, food, health care and the government sectors. He has significant experience as a professional engineer, project manager, programme manager, portfolio manager and senior manager in construction, information technology and business improvement industries. He has advanced portfolio, programme and project management, general management and leadership capabilities.
    Ben has been exposed to multiple project, programme and portfolio management frameworks and lifecycles. He is capable of sharing his knowledge in creative and innovative ways. He is well known for my strengths as an implementer and solution finder / solver to any given problem. I am a confident decision maker.
    Ben has achieved the highest status of Gold Winner in the International Project Management Association (IPMA) Achievement Award as Young Project Manager of the Year in 2016. He was also recognised as Employee of the year within the Corporate Services Directorate, City of Cape Town in 2018.     Ben is an active member at the South African Institute of Industrial Engineering and Project Management Institution, President for the Association for Project Management South Africa and Head of the International Project Management Smarter Cities Special Interest Group. His senior management experience inspired him to obtain more knowledge within the business and management environment and therefore he completed his MBA (Master in Business Administration) in 2019 at the University of Edinburgh (Herriot Watt Business School).
    Ben is a sports fanatic in his private life. He believes in a team culture and loves all sports. He is a keen tri-athlete, MTB rider.
