The work and the way of working of all participating teams is evaluated by the Jury Committee that is composed of prominent members of the Project Management community, highly-recognized international experts coming from different backgrounds, including business, science, and academia.

Head of Jury – Dr. Joel B. Carboni (USA) is a leading figure on sustainability in project management. He is a graduate of Ball State University, holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development and Environment and has an IPMA Level B working over 23 years in portfolio, program and project management – spanning government, finance, big five consulting and education.

He has delivered talks, workshops, and trainings in 53 countries; advancing sustainable development. He is the President of the International Project Management Association in the United States, the founder of GPM (Green Project Management) and is an adjunct professor at Skema Business School in France.

Joel is also the GPM representative to the United Nations Global Compact where he was a founding signatory of the UN’s Business for Peace Initiative & Anti-Corruption call to action, a contributing author of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs).

He is the architect of the PRiSM™ project delivery methodology, the P5 Standard for Sustainability in Project Management.



 

Raphael Albergarias (Brazil) is a CEO and partner of AES engineering solutions for asset integrity, mainly on O&G industry with over 16 years experience in project management and consulting. He participated in more than 90 projects/ programs, from an implementation of mega projects in upstream and downstream (22bi USD) ERP implementation, Business Process Model and development of new PPPM courses – Brazil, EUA and France.

Raphael is an international speaker, with a focus on the development of project management as a core competence of organizations. he is the founding member and President of IPMA Brazil, Director for development of IPMA in LATNET Program (Region 5) and IPMA Lead Assessor for 4-L-C IPMA certification. He is the youngest president in the history of IPMA (Member Association), youngest IPMA certification assessor and youngest IPMA-A in history.

Raphael is IIE Chief Strategy Officer and developer of Professional Programs with an emphasis in PM (Professional Doctorate and Masters Degrees), being the first of this kind in Latin America. He has experience +5 years in international relations with top Universities. He is the founding member and coordinator of the first commission in the CFA/CRA system for PPPM (Project, Program and Portfólio Management).

Vahid Azadmanesh (Iran) graduated the MBA master’s degree from Carleton university in CA and Doctor Business Administration (DBA) in Lisbon university (ISEG) in Portugal. He has five PMI credentials such as PMP, PfMP, RMP, SP and PBA. Furthermore, he has over 15 years experience in the teaching, consulting, deployment and involving in the project management field across industries and universities like Tehran university. He is the professional Instructor of PMBOK,PRINCE2, PEM, ICB, PEB, Portfolio, Program standards in the middle east.

Vahid is an active participant in the global standards as well as he had the brilliant volunteer activities with Project Management Institute (PMI) as following :

Marco Buijnsters (The Netherlands) has more than 35 years of experience in the field of managing projects, developing project managers and project organizations as well as consulting, training and coaching of project managers, project-teams and project organizations. He has also extensive project auditing/assessment knowledge and experience from small to very large and complex projects and project organizations in both public and private sector worldwide.

Marco is already for more than 20 years connected with IPMA in a variety of roles like board member, financial committee member , Interest group leader, congress organizer, PEA (Team Lead) assessor, trainer and organizer.

Marco has a background in mechanical engineering (BASc) and business administration (MBA) and is also a professional trainer and does research with various Dutch Universities on PM related subjects.

As project management “expert” he is participating in ISO 21.500 PM standards development and is or has been part of the working groups on ISO-21.508 EVM, ISO-21.511 WBS, WG 9 ISO 21.500 revamp and AHG8 PPPM competences.



 

Ben Carruthers (Australia) has more than 13 years experience managing projects within IT, Local Government and Telecommunications. Currently he is working for a Local Government Authority as the Information Management and Technology Coordinator which “bridges the gap” between Community Development and the City’s IT Department to deliver better business outcomes through Project Management.

His certifications include PRINCE2 and a Diploma of Project Management.

Ben previously assisted in the coordination of the AIPM Young & Emerging Project Professionals (YEPP) group within Perth, Western Australia which supports young professionals and those starting out their careers in project management.



 

Dr. Fariborz Davarpanah (Iran) holds Master degrees in Materials Engineering and Business Administration, with his Doctorate in Business Administration received from the University of Bordeaux, France; focused on Project Knowledge Management. He is also an active PMP(R) and GPM-b (™) since 2008 and 2017, respectively.

With more than 20 years of experience in various industrial projects in Iran, China and Germany; he has tried diverse sectors (such as oil/gas/petrochemical, automotive, etc.) and working environments and cultures. Besides his professional career, Fariborz is active in training and academics, as well. Patrick Kamba (Belgium) Passionate by people development and training, he’s been primarily active as teacher then progressively as project management trainer. Patrick is a job coach and mentor, he likes to help people be and perform at their best. During the last few years, he’s been providing leadership in the profession through people and career management through Pint of PM seminars in Brussels (Belgium) and PM awareness week for Citi Group.

He was Director of the Project Management at GSK Vaccines. He lead Project Managers contributing to vaccines development. He decided to take a new challenge with the set up of a PMO in Mithra, biopharma company specialised in women’s health.

Patrick is an engineer; he has two masters from Liege University in Belgium and has enriched his profile with an MBA from Liverpool University.



 

Oxana Klimenko (Russia) is a business consultant on project management, certified project management professional (IPMA-C), certified program and portfolio management consultant (IPMA-PPMC). She worked as a Director of certification body of Russian project management association SOVNET (2011-2013) and is the founder of YOUNG CREW SOVNET. Oxana is a senior lecturer in project management at NRU “Higher School of Economics”. She is delivering MBA and MPA programs at RANEPA and is the IPMA Project Excellence Award Assessor.

Oxana is a Founder and Director of the yearly International Youth Scientific and Practical Project Management Conferences “Youth and Management of Projects in Russia”, Moscow (2011-2015).

Oxana is the project management team member, developing the international standard on the management of IPMA ICB4 and ICR4 projects. She is the IPMA ICR4 Implementation project manager. As a team member, she took part in developing IPMA Delta organizational – technological competence model in IPMA. As IPMA Delta manager in Russia she led the assessments for four organizations: Sberbank of Russia, Ekaterinburg electric grid company, Nizhny Tagil Plant of Steel Structures, TNK-BP.

Oxana is the author of the articles and the book “Project manager for stakeholders”, together with Voropaev V. and Gelrud Ya.



 

Jakub Lesinski (Poland) is a Senior Manager and Project/Programme Manager (20y experience). He has managed over 20 projects, been a team member in several others. He is the Founder and CEO of Thoriana – the project management consulting company based in Warsaw, operating across Europe, providing services from strategy definition through portfolio preparation to operational project management.

Jakub is focused in leadership and effective management aspects especially in a complex project/programme management area. He led teams from 3 to 450+ people and projects up to 40MEUR budget. Jakub is apecialized in managing change and transformation (especially in IT domain) and enabling business growth through new products and platforms implementation. He is focused on implementation of performance improvement systems in enterprise corporations (e.g. Agile, Lean, SixSigma).

Jakub is PE Award Assessor and Lead Assessor for the prize Polish IPMA Project Excellence Award (PPEA) 2010, 2011, the Member of the jury in IPMA PPEA 2013, Global PPE Award Assesor from 2018. He actively participates as a lecturer and leading panel discussions at conferences on project management.



 

Tatiana Machicao (Peru) is an industrial engineer with a Master Degree in Project Management (Norwegian University of Science and Technology – Trondheim).

She has worked in the Textile Industry, and lately as a consultant in Business Process Management, Integrated Quality Systems and Project Management mainly in public sector in Perú.

Tatiana is highly motivated in Business Process Management implementation projects and organizational Project Management. She is prepared as an assessor under IPMA Project Excellence Baseline (PEB).



 

Mohammad Mahoud (Iran) is currently a Teaching Assistant (T.A.) for the post-graduate construction/ project management students in the University. Apart from that, he was a strategic communication and business development expert in the Iran PMA, aimed to expand collaborations both internally and externally with project-oriented organizations around the world. In addition to this, he is a Ph.D. candidate in Construction & Project Management and holds a Master Degree (M.Sc.) in project management and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in civil engineering.

Meanwhile, Mohammad has worked for different research and construction companies. Since 2017, due to the scientific and research background, he is an international reviewer of the IAsMa- ICE Journal of the United Kingdom, In his professional career, he has often held executive and managerial positions in R&D Institutes and during these years, he has been involved with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WIFI) as a trainer in entrepreneurship, leadership and business management based on the learning model LENA (Acknowledged by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth + Erasmus + UEAPME). From that year onwards, he began his career as the marketing and business development manager of the ISIPO and took on duties such as Implementation of Training Courses for Small and Medium Industries and Industrial Parks Organization inside and outside industrial settlements and promoting the development of educational culture, which left an admirable output.

He has been working closely with the Iran PMA since 2013, and has been working on positions such as translator and secretary of the international service of the newsletter, business development and market research expert, host of the summits, as well as a member of the executive team (coordinator) at the National Project Management Day and PE Awards. In November 2016, he was elected by the majority members of the central council of the National Young Crew, with the majority of votes for the responsibility of the network. From May, 2018, following the entry into the Iran PMA Young Crew (Transitional Status), he was appointed as the leader of the YC by the board of directors of the Iran PMA and the chairman of the Iran YC. Finally, from December, 2018, Iran YC began to be one of the IPMA YC full members 7 months. It is worth mentioning that he is the first Iranian to be present at the accredited Jury Individual Prizes of the IPMA, and in February 2019 he was selected as one of the International Referees of the Young Project Manager of the Year (YPMY) Award.

Moreover, two scientific articles authored by him have been accepted for oral presentation by the 14th OTMC and 7th IPMA International Research Conference 2019 technical committee after review for technical merits and he had lectured and convened IPMA Research Conference at the Westin Zagreb Hotel last September. Lastly, in January 2020 he has been selected as one of the International Juries of the IPMA Global eCollaboration Competition (GeCCo).



 

Oliver Moser (Austria) has about 10 years’ experience in project management in various industries such as production, construction, telecommunication and healthcare. During his work as quality and process manager he led numerous projects with a strong focus on organizational development and IT. He is currently Manager of a Project Management Office in the telecommunication industry and is responsible for the whole project and portfolio process.

Oliver gained a profound project management knowledge during implementing PM according to IPMA standard in a medium sized family company, meanwhile he did his IPMA Level C certification. His ability to lead project teams through highly uncertain and complex situations he proved during turning around a project crisis as interim manager.

His academic background is founded in process management with specialization in healthcare, enhanced with a Master degree in innovation and technology management and completed with a MBA in General Management (so far). He holds various certifications besides IPMA Level C, for example in Quality and Environmental Management. Oliver regularly speaks about his experiences and practical approaches during congresses or workshops of PMA Project Management Austria and others.

Kamil Mroz (Belgium) is a certified PRINCE2 Trainer and Lean Six Sigma professional combining with many years of experience leading projects in the Biotech & Pharma sector.

Currently he is working at GSK in Belgium as a Senior Program Manager and PMCapabilities Lead. He is deeply involved and passionate about contributing to the PM community by regularly speaking at PM conferences, actively contributing to publications and enthusiastically sharing his experience with the next generation of project managers. Since 2016, he is also organizing a monthly networking event for PMs in Belgium called “Pint of PM”.

In 2013 he received the prestigious International Project Management Association (IPMA) Young Project Manager of the Year Award for outstanding leadership and project management excellence, and since then he has been part of the yearly Global IPMA Jury to select future winners.

Dr. Igor Osipov (Russia / UK) brings more than 20 years of hands-on industry experience forming and translating strategy into projects, programs and portfolios driving business growth in Dutch, UK, US, and Russia-based companies in various industry sectors. Igor founded the Catalyst project and was a co-organizer of the first IPMA Young Crew World Championship Finals. Igor led several different national championships at IPMA with Catalyst simulations in project, risk, stakeholder and strategy management. This time will be the 3rd time he is with the Jury for the GeCCo Competition.

Currently, Igor is Vice-President Academic and Government, EMEA at the world’s leading international company in digital science & research. He is also President of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) Endowment Foundation and co-Founder and Professor at FEFU’s joint Executive MBA program with National University of Singapore. Over the last 10 years Igor authored and delivered a number of articles and globally-used business simulators covering various aspects of strategy, project, and portfolio management for IPMA and PMI professional communities and global congresses.

Dr. Osipov has applied social sciences and decision-making background and holds a B.A. from RGGU-University of Alaska (Russia-US), an M.A. from University of Sussex (UK) and a doctoral degree from University of Alberta (Canada).



 

Dr. Michael Pace (USA) is an Executive Professor at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School. His responsibilities there include instruction in Project Management, Strategic Management, International Business and Introduction to Business. He also leads the annual study abroad to Southern Africa and is the faculty advisor for both the University’s Phi Beta Lambda chapter as well as the Aggie Product Management Club.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Pace spent almost 2 decades in industry building or fixing project management offices and project functions.

He is on the Board of Directors for IPMA-USA, as well as serving as the Registration Director for IPMA-USA.



 

Giuseppe Pugliese (Italy) was Born in Naples, Italy the 18th of June 1956. Graduated in 1980 in Electronic Engineering. He has been working in ICT and Service companies as CEO and Director in several companies in Italy and abroad.

Giuseppe is the Director of Certification of IPMA Italy. He speakers at many national and international events about project management topics. He is the team member in several IPMA international projects and since July 2012 the member of the international board of IPMA in charge to the certification procedures for more then 60 Countries.

Giuseppe has been a Jury Member of the IPMA international Project Manager Awards for several years. He attended to more than 30 international working meetings all over the world about developing project management standards. He is the member of IPMA Italy Board, the member of the scientific committee for the IPMA Italy Journal of Applied Project Management, the IPMA Italy representative for the UNI Project Management working group.



 

Tiago Ramalho (Portugal) discovered project management (by chance) a few years ago and has been passionate about it ever since.

He works as a PMO for large transformation Programs and Portfolios in banking and insurance industries. With an academic background in Economics and Management, he developed most of his experience as a project manager in training and consultancy projects. He also worked in finance where he recently played a leadership role in a Shared Service Center.

Currently the President of IPMA Young Crew Portugal and part of several teams within IPMA Young Crew, he has been actively contributing to both Portuguese and international project management communities.



 

Danijela Toljaga-Nikolić (Serbia) is a lecturer at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education. Her field of interest is project management. She has gained a lot of experience in a project management field while working as a project associate, researcher, and analyst within projects in the Serbian public and commercial sectors, including projects that were funded by the EU.

Danijela has coordinated a significant number of seminars in the field of project management based on PCM methodology, organized by the Serbian Project Management Association. Since 2015, she has been engaged as a member of the Jury Committee of the Global e-Collaboration Competition.

Danijela holds the position of Director of IPMA Certification for Serbia. From this position, she has a high level of knowledge and experience in the development process of the project manager’s competencies. She has published over 60 papers in national and international journals and conferences as a result of her research and teaching engagement.



 

Eleni Tsechelidou (Greece) is a civil engineer and a certified project manager (IPMA-C). In 2009, she co-founded Thermi Constructions, a land development and construction company based in Greece, where she currently holds the role of the managing director.

Eleni also works as a business strategy and project management consultant and trainer. She has presented her research at several national and international project management events and since 2013 she is a regular speaker at the Engineering Project Management Master’s program of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Her academic background includes a Civil Engineering degree with a specialization in Transportation, Infrastructure, Management and Regional Planning, an MSc in Engineering Project Management and an MBA

Eleni is an Assessor for the IPMA International Project Excellence Award, having assessed Medium and Big sized projects in Europe and Central America. She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA).



 

Margulan Zhumagali (Kazakhstan) has 18+ years’ experience in Project & Programme management in public sector in central and local governments (revenues, finance, industry and trade, construction, national companies (innovations, IT, energy)) and in private sector in publishing & advertising, construction & engineering, PM training & consultancy.

Margulan is one of the founders of national IPMA Young Crew. He is Certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA Level B) and Senior Strategy and Innovation Project and Program Manager (P2M). He is an IPMA Project Excellence Judge and Assessor.

Margulan was recommended by the IPMA to be approved as the National IPMA Delta Assessor. He is a National IPMA Assessor for certification of project managers, gold Winner in Award Category Project Excellence in Big-Sized Projects (IPMA Project Excellence Award 2017). He is an Associate Professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professional Coach and Mentor ICU/ICTA, Mentor of Central Asia Mentors Union. His secondary education includes high schools in Texas and Oklahoma (USA).

Margulan has Bachelor degree in International Economic Sciences from NARXOZ (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Master in Public Policy & Administration from National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (Tokyo, Japan).
