The work and the way of working of all participating teams will be evaluated by the Jury Committee members – world-renowned project management professionals.
Head of the Jury – Eleni Tsechelidou (Greece) is a civil engineer and a certified project manager (IPMA-C). In 2009, she co-founded Thermi Constructions, a land development and construction company based in Greece, where she currently holds the role of the managing director. Eleni also works as a business strategy and project management consultant and trainer. She has presented her research at several national and international project management events and since 2013 she is a regular speaker at the Engineering Project Management Master’s program of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her academic background includes a Civil Engineering degree with a specialization in Transportation, Infrastructure, Management and Regional Planning, an MSc in Engineering Project Management and an MBA. Eleni Tsechelidou is an Assessor for the IPMA International Project Excellence Award, having assessed Medium and Big sized projects in Europe and Central America. She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA).
Margulan Zhumagali (Kazakhstan) has 15+ years’ experience in Project & Programme management in public sector in central government (revenues, finance, industry, and trade, national companies (innovations, IT, energy)) and in private sector in publishing and advertising, sports facility construction and engineering.
Now he works at Nazarbayev University in Astana, where he experienced the development of project-oriented organization with full cycle PMO (Programme management office) from scratch. There he played various PM roles as contract manager, project/program coordinator, project manager, head of PMO, project director. Thereafter organization was certified by International Project Management Association as organizational competence class “standardized” (IPMA Delta Certification 2013), and one of the PMO’s project achieved the highest status of Gold Winner in Award Category Project Excellence in Big-Sized Projects (IPMA Project Excellence Award 2017). Margulan is actively engaged in the Project Management Association (KPMA, IPMA) on the voluntary basis. Margulan one of the founders of national IPMA Young Crew, where he has had the positions of a Chairman of the Management Board and Mentor. He is one of the organizing team members of IPMA Global Young Crew Workshop and World Congress 2017. He is Certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA) and Senior Strategy and Innovation Project and Program Manager (P2M). He is an IPMA International Assessor for Project Excellence Award, having assessed Mega-Sized project (Silver Winner 2017), and also assessment experience in Global Young Project Manager of the Year Award. Margulan recommended by the IPMA to be approved as the National IPMA Delta assessor. His secondary education includes high schools in Texas and Oklahoma (USA). Margulan has Bachelor degree in International Economic Sciences from NARXOZ (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Master degree in Public Administration from National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (Tokyo, Japan).
Ben Carruthers (Australia) has more than 11 years experience managing projects within IT, Local Government and Telecommunications. Since 2014 he works for a Local Government Authority as the Information Management and Technology Coordinator which “bridges the gap” between business units and the City’s IT department to deliver better business outcomes through Project Management. Certifications include PRINCE2 and a Diploma of Project Management. Ben Carruthers previously assisted in the coordination of the AIPM Young & Emerging Project Professionals (YEPP) group within Perth, Western Australia which supports young professionals and those starting out their careers in project management.
Oxana Klimenko (Russia). Business – consultant on project management, certified project management professional (IPMA-C), certified program and portfolio management consultant (IPMA-PPMC). She worked as a Director of the certification body of Russian project management association SOVNET (2011 – 2013). She is the founder of YOUNG CREW SOVNET. Senior lecturer in project management at NRU “Higher School of Economics”. Oxana is delivering MBA and MPA programs at RANEPA. IPMA Project Excellence Award Assessor. Founder and Director of the yearly International Youth Scientific and Practical Project Management Conferences “Youth and Management of Projects in Russia”, Moscow (2011- 2015). The project management team member, developing the international standard for the management of IPMA ICB4 and ICR4 projects. IPMA ICR4 Implementation project manager. As a team member, she took part in developing IPMA Delta organizational – technological competence model in IPMA. As IPMA Delta manager in Russia she led the assessments for four organizations: Sberbank of Russia, Ekaterinburg electric grid company, Nizhny Tagil Plant of Steel Structures, TNK-BP. The author of the articles and the book “Project manager for stakeholders”, together with Voropaev V. and Gelrud Ya.
Giuseppe Pugliese (Italy) was Born in Naples, Italy the 18th of June 1956. Graduated in 1980 in Electronic Engineering. He has been working in ICT and Service companies as CEO and Director in several companies in Italy and abroad. Director of Certification of IPMA (International Project Management Association www.ipma.world) Italy. Speakers at many national and international events about project management topics. Team member in several IPMA international projects.Member since July 2012 of the international board of IPMA in charge to the certification procedures for more than 60 Countries. Jury Member of the IPMA international Project Manager Awards for several years. Attended to more than 30 international working meetings all over the world about developing project management standards. Member of IPMA Italy Board. Danijela Toljaga Nikolić (Serbia) works as a lecturer at the Faculty of organizational sciences, University of Belgrade, in the field of Strategic management, Project management, and Investment appraisal, on both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Since 2014, she has been engaged as a lecturer on course “Strategic Management and Global Market”, MBA studies “International Business and Management”, organized by the Faculty of organizational sciences and Middlesex University (London). She has been engaged in Serbian Project Management Association as a training coordinator. Previously, she has gained a lot of experience in project management field while was working as a project associate, researcher, and analyst within projects in Serbian public sector. Danijela has been certified for IPMA level D.
Michael Boxheimer (Germany) has worked for international project driven companies, holding different positions in project management and business management. He improved earnings in several project companies by increasing efficiency e.g by process re-design, development of organizational rules. Today he is acting as a Consultant, Trainer, Coach and Interim Manager for customers in different industries. He also designs and implements Project- and Process- Management Systems to improve business results of project-driven companies.He is also a lecturer on PM at universities.
Michael is a certified Systemic Coach (EASC) and Senior Project Manager (IPMA Level B). He also experienced Project Excellence from different perspectives and roles: Assessor, Trainer, Applicant and supports IPMA in this subject as a volunteer.
Bernhard Haidacher (Guatemala), an electronic engineer with an MBA, has worked as a consultant for Facultare since 1997 participating in Mergers & Acquisitions, IT ERP implementations as a catalyst for change, organizational transformation projects and bankruptcy recoveries. Being the last one, a furniture factory, formerly the largest in Central America. Now 96% shareholder of the last recovery. He has also authored insurance law changes in Guatemala as part of a country wide industry liquidity recovery project. Has participated in consulting projects in Central America, Germany and USA.
Bernhard Haidacher, founder of Guatemala’s IPMA Member Association, IPMA Level B Certified, IPMA Delta Assessor and IPMA Vice President for Marketing. He has been a member of the German Chamber of Commerce in Guatemala where he also served on the board. An enthusiastic and passionate IPMA volunteer.

Marco Buijnsters (The Netherlands) has more than 35 years of experience in the field of managing projects, developing project managers and project organizations as well as consulting, training and coaching of project managers, project-teams and project organizations. He has also extensive project auditing/assessment knowledge and experience from small to very large and complex projects and project organizations in both public and private sector worldwide.
Marco is already for more than 20 years connected with IPMA in a variety of roles like board member, financial committee member , Interest group leader, congress organizer, PEA (Team Lead) assessor, trainer and organizer.
Marco has a background in mechanical engineering (BASc) and business administration (MBA) and is also a professional trainer and does research with various Dutch Universities on PM related subjects.
As project management “expert” he is participating in ISO 21.500 PM standards development and is or has been part of the working groups on ISO-21.508 EVM, ISO-21.511 WBS, WG 9 ISO 21.500 revamp and AHG8 PPPM competences.
Tatiana Machicao (Perú), an industrial engineer with a Master Degree in Project Management (Norwegian University of Science and Technology – Trondheim).
She has worked in the Textile Industry, and lately as a consultant in Business Process Management, Integrated Quality Systems and Project Management mainly at the Education public sector in Perú.
Highly motivated in Business Process Management implementation projects and organizational Project Management.

Kamil Mroz (Belgium) is a certified PRINCE2 Trainer and Lean Six Sigma professional combining with many years of experience leading projects in the Biotech & Pharma sector. Currently he is working at GSK in Belgium as a Senior Program Manager and PMCapabilities Lead. He is deeply involved and passionate about contributing to the PM community by regularly speaking at PM conferences, actively contributing to publications and enthusiastically sharing his experience with the next generation of project managers. Since 2016, he is also organizing a monthly networking event for PMs in Belgium called “Pint of PM”. He has been IPMA’s Global Project Excellence Assessor since 2011; Jury for IPMA Achievement awards since 2014; and Jury for APFPM Awards since 2012.
