GPMD May 2021 feedback

The conference was conducted on the 29-30th of May with a central topic of resourcefulness in project management. Overall we had 17 extremely professional experts as our speakers. The maximum number of concurrent online participants went up to 150 people which is an impressive number for the history of our event.

Some of the key takeaways:

  • Resourcefulness can be found through different ways of thinking including, lateral thinking, design thinking, and innovative approaches
  • Project Management tools with agile methods as an example can boost resourcefulness at any level of management
  • One can learn resourcefulness lessons from across different spheres as we did with very insightful keynotes by the world’s leading experts
  • Moreover, we had a very structural panel discussion which allowed each of the participants to reflect on two days of lectures and discussions around resourcefulness and design their path to it as an individual competence.

We would like to express our gratitude to all participants, speakers, sponsors, and partners for supporting the event. This year the main sponsor of the event was Kanbanize, a leading Kanban software for project and portfolio managers. Every participant has an opportunity to get a 3-month trial of the Kanbanize platform as a bonus!

One of our key values is sustainability. In addition to sustaining our work by following PM standards, each edition we donate to different worldwide organizations to help overcome global challenges. This time, the donation – 1 euro gathered from each sold ticket – was made to Children International to help children in poverty keep learning.

Seeing the rise of interest in the Global PM Days we are honored to announce our next edition! The 5th Global PM Days, under the topic of Self-reflection and self-management, takes place on November 27-28, 2021.

Stay tuned for the next edition and be in the ongoing process of growth!

Looking forward to seeing you in November,
    Your Global PM Days team
