Collaboration in a Hybrid World Saturday, October 29 at 10:55 am UTC / 12:55 pm CEST We live in the Information Age where the world has never been more connected, but in a physical world we’re becoming increasingly distant. As our societies become more connected, the world of work has become more Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous and often more digital. Historic PM approaches place value on certainty in the future environment. Recognising projects and programmes are unique by their very nature, a logical conclusion is to adapt how we think about them and modify our approach to account for uncertainty. Building projects and programmes on collaboration, transparency and adaptability can deliver outstanding results by embracing uncertainty in the way that project and programme teams work. We can prosper in a VUCA world if we place greatest value on collaborating to achieve learning of the things that we don’t know. Lets talk about how we use collaboration, both physical and digital, in the ways that we deliver projects and programmes. Over the last 20 years, Jamie McKain has successfully delivered major transformation and change programmes across business and product lifecycles. He has developed highly effective transformational programme management skills combined with extensive leadership, coaching, collaboration and facilitation. Jamie has led improvement programmes, applying agile and waterfall approaches, and behavioural change, to achieve and sustain world class results. These experiences have given Jamie a unique understanding of the E2E business process and how collaboration lies at the heart of teams that deliver successful projects and programmes. |
