One of the most important aspects of project management is stakeholder management. In international mega projects in Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries, there are various stakeholders from different cultures and countries that need different approaches.
In this keynote you will hear stories and tips from personal experience dealing with stakeholders from all over the world, coming from those cultures that are more hierarchical than others are or those that value personal relations at work more.
Mr. SafarAli Babaei is an expert and experienced portfolio manager in Iran’s Oil, Gas and petrochemical industries. He has a vast experience in implementation and commissioning of refinery plants, olefin plants, and gas pressure stations. After 30 years of working in oil industries, now he is the CEO in “Petrochemical Industries Development Management Co.” (PIDMCo) which is responsible of implementing most petrochemical mega projects in Iran. The investment of all these mega projects is estimated more than 15 billion dollars.
