UPV will represent Spain at the IPMA Young Crew International Final of Project Management Championships.

The 2018 Project Management National Final Championship took place at School of Agricultural, Food and Biosystems Engineering of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The main goal of this championship is to promote interest in Project Management among young professionals around the world.

This important event has been organized by IPMA Young Crew Spain in collaboration with UPMs GESPLAN Group and the sponsorship of BPMSat.

The event was hosted by Luis Ricote Lázaro being the Director of the School of Agricultural, Food and Biosystems Engineering. Participants were also greeted by special guests such as Vanesa Lo Iacono Ferreira –  coordinator of AEIPRO Young Crew, Ignacio de los Ríos Carmenado – GESPLAN coordinator, Agustín Montes Antón – vice-president of AEIPRO and managing director of FGUPM and Jesus Martínez Almela – current president of IPMA.

Each of the six Spanish teams had the same challenge related to project management and had to tackle it according to their own knowledge.

The winners of the national final were the team NARM- UPV formed by Albert Noguera, Nacho Sanchís, Raoni Spyker and Miguel Sánchez representing Universitat Politècnica de València. In addition to winning the national final and receiving the prize of level D of IPMA certification exam, they are representing Spain at Belgrade (Serbia) at the International Final in June.
