The Winners of the Iran National PMC 2021

The 2021 edition of the PMC started on 6 Feb 2021, and in the first stage, A workshop about ICB4 was held. There were groups of 3 or 4 people were placed under the name of the university where most of the members of the group studied, of which 55 people were classified into 15 teams.

In the Qualification Round stage, the teams responded to 100 test questions in 100 minutes by entering the competition portal on 4 March 2021. Due to the prevalence caused by COVID -19, some teams interacted with each other virtually and others in person, and answered each other’s questions in the consultation. Finally, the first six teams advanced to the real-life case study stage (National Final).

To further prepare the teams for the case study, a problem-solving skills workshop was held on May 7, 2021.

Also, Ariana Project Management Institute and Infrastructure Communications Company (a subsidiary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Iran) sponsored this competition.

Due to the outbreak of the COVID -19, the PMC committee, after consulting with the teams, held the national final stage of the competition virtually. On Wednesday 19th of May, the Iran National final of PMC was held. During the national final, an important challenge was defined for the teams in a real project in collaboration with the Infrastructure Communications Company and participants competed using their project management knowledge skills, digital and creative presentations and the top team was introduced by the Jury (5 Members) based on various criteria.

Finally, after a challenging day, the “Tehran University #2” team consisting of Ms. Faezeh Moezzi, Ms. Farnaz Razmandi, Mr. Mohammadreza Fazelian, and Mr. Amirsadegh Sedaghat won the championship and entered the international final PMC competition as the representative of Iran.
