30 teams competed in the first edition of Czech PMC

The qualification round in the Czech Republic has come to an end with a great success ! Although the competition has been introduced to Czech students for the first time, the student’s interest in the competition was enormous ! There have been almost 30 teams competing in the qualification round from 6 universities across the Czech Republic and 9 faculties.
Now, when the qualification round has come to an end, we can proudly announce our teams who won promotion to the national round. We would also like to proudly announce our gratitude to all the competing teams this year and wish them best of luck next time !

The teams who received highest scores in the qualification round and are invited to the national round which is going to take place in Prague, hosted by University of Chemistry and Technology on the 23rd of April, are coming from following universities:

University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague – with 1 team of score 82%, which is also the absolute best result from the qualification round
University of Economics, Prague – with 2 teams with scores of 78 % and 69%
Brno University of Technology – with 2 teams with scores of 80% and 69%
Masaryk University, Brno – with 1 teams with score of 66 %

All teams will be personally working on a 4 hour long case study introduced by Ernst&Young, the main sponsor of the competition.

We wish our teams best of luck and we believe the Czech Republic will be sending tough competition to the international round for all the other European teams !
