Winners of the Czech PMC come from the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague

The national finale has come to an end !
For most of young students in the Czech Republic, it was just another lazy saturday, but there were few young individuals, who were sweating tears, excercising the old grey matter to the maximum and floating in the skies of creativity that day, just to prove they were the best of the best among the other 6 teams in managing a project defined by case study delivered by the Czech official sponsor Ernst&Young of the Project management championship competition !
The national round began on 23rd of April at around 9:30 am, where the competing teams were greeted by a morning brunch, which would then help them to get charged by energy so much needed for solving the case study. After the opening ceremony they had 4 hours to come up with the best project management tools and principles applications, which also had to be used with maximum creativity, only after which, they presented their solutions to the expert committee consisting of PM experts from academic sphere, represented by doc. Ing Lenka Švecová Ph.D., and business sphere represented by Ing. Michal Beránek, also the member of executive committee of IPMA CZ, and Ing. Karel Kříž representing Ernst&Young, the sponsoring company.
Although the committee had a very hard time deciding for the best team, they came to a unanimous consent that the winning team would be from the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague consisting of:
Marina Goncharová, Lenka Filipiaková, Kateřina Kleinová a Timotej Piták
Winning team won a free exam for IPMA level D certification along with an opportunity to represent the Czech Republic in the competitions international round in Berlin! We congratulate them and believe, they will prove their skills and bring the total victory to the Czech Republic !
In 2nd and 3rd place were teams from Prague University of Economics and Business, winning the IPMA National students certification, 4rd place was taken by teams from Masaryk University, Brno, and in 5th and 6th place were teams from Brno, University of technology, faculty of civil engineering.
