German PMC 2023 National Final: We have a winner!

31st of March: The German National Final of the Project Management Championship (PMC) took place for the ninth time in a row, organized by the IPMA Young Crew Germany in collaboration with IPMA-Germany / GPM Germany.

The PMC 2023 edition was a full day physical event that took place at the location of our Sponsor Infineon AG

Five participating teams – made up of 19 students – from 7 different german Universities, successfully passed the online qualification test and qualified for this year’s PMC final.

The final was an intense day for everyone involved, with a challenging program starting in the morning and rounding up in the evening with the award ceremony. We all enjoyed the day as it was the first physical event of the Young Crew Germany.

The 5 teams were asked to assume the role of a project management firm for a day. Their mission was built upon a case study about a real life issue for the Germany: The topic for the case study was about planing a meeting of global conference for project managers. In this conference the key topics were about networking, exchange project experiences and gaining new project management skills.

In order to deliver a fair result and assess the performance of the teams, a jury was formed by 3 judges. One judge from the Sponsor Infineon AG, one judge from a partner company CSI Entwicklungstechnik and one judge from the national youngcrew board members.

Congratulations to all finalists & to the winner: Thees Tjarks, Felix Fröhlich, Lena Lüllmann, Lukas Riethmüller.
