Universidad Tecnológica de la Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México (UTVAM) will represent México at the IPMA Young Crew LATNET International Final of Project Management Championships 2018
On Tuesday, August 7, at the University UTVAM, Tizayuca, Hgo., the final round of the 2018 Mexican Project Management Championship took place. The objective of it was to promote interest in Project Management among Young Crew students, and some other young people who may be interested in the topic, and to provide them opportunities to use their knowledge in real projects.
This important event was organized by IPMA Young Crew Mexico with the help of the local organizer Luis Manuel Lopez in collaboration with UTVAM.
The team of Universidad Technological de la Zona Metropolitana del Valle de Mexico (UTVAM) formed by Fernando Hernandez, Yulisa Salas, Adolfo Gómez, Beatriz Hernández achieved the best results, therefore, were nominated winners, representing Mexico in the finals in Chile in August 2018.
The second place was obtained by Gabriela Romero, Luis Enriquez, Angelica Cruz, Armando Nava.
Each of the teams participating in this Project had the same challenge related to Project management and they had to solve it according to their knowledge as a team. All the Project was done in English which increased the difficulty for all participants.
All teams were evaluated by special guests such as – Luz María Park (Director of OCIM), – Israel Navarro (PM IPMA Level C certified), – Alberto Fuente (PM IPMA Level B certified), – Jorge Peart Mijangos (President of IPMA Mexico).
