Dr Mehmood is an aerospace engineer and EPCC Project Management Professional, with more than 13 years of Engineering, Project Management and Controls experience in industry worldwide. He has been managing projects for clients in the government, oil & gas, nuclear and aerospace sectors both in UK and internationally. This includes project definition and strategy, bidding, selection and appointment of contractors, engineering design, project planning, monitoring and controls, delivery, closeout, financial management and the provision of strategic and tactical advice to clients involved in project management activity. Mehmood has leveraged his knowledge and experience further to promote industrial-academic partnerships, publications and presentations at various global PM firms; contributing to the PM profession.

Ivan Calimani (Italy)

Since 2009 on the Expo Project Ivan’s major responsibility has been planning and controlling during design, tender and construction phase. His role is Program Manager in Construction Division. He works with the PM assigned to each contract with purpose to plan and verify uniform progress of the whole program, avoiding and resolving situation where progress on a project is in conflict with others. He cooperates with other Expo Divisions, such as: Event Management, Operations that will manage the Site during the Event and Participant Division with whom he relates to transpose Participant Nations’ requirement and coordinate their construction works.
